Sunlight NY

Project Sunlight was created in 2007 with the purpose of making New York State government information more readily available in a digital format. This year, Attorney General Andrew Cuomo unveiled Sunlight 2.0 which contains new data and a more user friendly format. Information currently available on this website includes: the 2009-2010 state budget; bill jackets; legislative information; campaign finance records; corporate information; and an interactive map of state local officials.

Westlaw offers quick ten minute practice exercises on researching using American Law Reports (ALR), case law, key numbers, KeyCite, statutes, and secondary sources. To locate these exercises log onto Westlaw and under the Home tab, click on Westlaw training.
